A lithe, short furred, black tom with a white chest and bright yellow eyes
Appearance:
Kitestorm bears a mostly black pelt with rather short and sleek fur. His chest is covered with white fur, contrasting with the rest of his body. His fur holds a shine that rarely disappears, especially in the warm days of Summer. The tom isn't very picky about his appearance, but his pelt stays clean for the majority of the day. He possesses kitty-pet like features, from his rounded face to his dull front claws. However his ears are pointed, and are missing a small bit of fur in front of them. And right below that are his piercing yellow eyes, filled with a plethora of emotions and thoughts.
Personality:
Kitestorm is a very spontaneous tom. His personality and emotions can change in a matter of seconds, making his entire existence a huge wild card. On good days he is thoughtful and humorous, smiling at the most simplest things. Other days, he can be silent and jaded, a mere shadow in the clan. The young male feels a slew of unjustified emotions that he struggles to keep in check. His unstable ways messes up his relationships sometimes, so his self-esteem isn’t the greatest. He often has an unrealistic idea of himself (seeing himself as too slow or stupid, etc.) Kitestorm also struggles with trust and honesty. He doesn’t fully trust anyone and with that comes his tendency to hide the truth. It’s borderline impossible to tell when he’s lying, which can give others a false sense of closeness. He doesn’t do it to hurt others, but rather protect himself from his imagined enemies. The tom is also forgetful and overly sarcastic, which doesn’t help.
Despite all his negative characteristics, he is very protective and loving. He tries his hardest to be kind to everyone and is often seen as really understanding despite his lack of emotions from time to time. He’s loyal to his clan, even if he seems attached to one cat in particular. He never breaks promises, and will fight for family.
History:
Born of a kitty-pet and a loner, Kitekit was found by some warriors after being abandoned by his mother's owners a couple days after birth. Because of this, he can't remember if he had any siblings or what his father looked like. Despite his sad beginning, he carried on a normal clan life, being raised by one of the queens and trained like a clan-born feline.
During his apprenticeship, Kitepaw fell into a pit of self-esteem issues and distrust. It seemed to derive from an emotionally abusive past relationship with another apprentice, but the tom was never able to pinpoint the exact cause especially after the emotional abuser left the clan. Ever since, he struggled with connections and getting close with others. He kept his thoughts and ideas to himself, and even deemed himself "unlovable." His way of thinking in the past has matured his personality, and one would think he was much older if they didn't know any better.
