[History]
Heritage: Serenity grew up on a farm a long way from the coast, and had traveled very far with her mother and a small group of rogues. At some point, when she was nearing the end of her fourth season, she and a few others got separated from the main group and she never saw her mother and most of her family again. Eventually, she parted ways with her companions and followed a strange scent in the air, until she found herself at the sea. Entranced by this new place she settled into a nearby twoleg-place. She learned the way of the streets, kept civil with the clannies she found living in the arear, and later came across a charming kittypet named Ryan. She was smitten with the tom and she got to know him better, but one day he had to bid her a goodbye… his twolegs were moving away. She begged him to stay with her but he wouldn’t. After he left she discovered she was expecting kits and instantly sought out a place to raise her offspring. She came across a beautiful garden on the edges of the twoleg-place, where she met a quiet feline who welcomed her to stay. This was where she was given her name from the twoleg who stayed there (she had long since forgotten her birth name).
Kithood: Sunny was born within a grand garden, among the protective branches of bushes and evergreens, toward the end of summer. She can’t remember much from the first couple of moons of her life... What she can remember is the love and warmth of her mother, which she would often used to escape the pain of cold and hunger which started to grow stronger and stronger with every passing day. She would often peer out into the world and stare in wonder at the dull freezing land coated with the amazingly bright beautiful leaves. She would love to play with the leaves; digging and diving into piles and chasing them in the wind. The small family would often receive visits from a regal white cat, who provided them with a helpful paw, food, and comfort. There was a time when she had sworn she could recall having more than one sibling, but she never thought too deeply on the matter and she came to dismiss it. Her mother taught her many things as she grew and played in the den and sometimes out in the leaf-coated garden; morals, rules and lessons. She heard many stories and learned many things as she was lulled to sleep, often done so that she would forget the cold and hunger that had quickly become a part of her life at this point. She could even remember having fun hunter for her Protector among the leaves, alongside her littermate; despite the hardships she cherishes all of her memories.
Early-Moons: Then one day, everything was covered in white, and every day she worried that they would lose their Protector to the frozen white terrain… but she soon discovered the joys of winter as well. The twoleg had left strange pellets and scraps of odd but delicious food for them when the weather was particularly bad. She honed her skills as she played in the snow, tried to find Ghost (she had learned their name at this point), and help her mother reinforced their den. She was old enough to be taught how to live on her own; how to hunt, hide, fight, climb, and run, along with important lessons about survival. Only in the last moon has she felt the blessing of a full stomach and she couldn’t be filled with more joy at having entered this new stage of her life. She is growing eager to finally be able to explore outside of the garden and see more of the world.
