+Imaginative; This tortie has an imagination that travels faster than both her mind and her mouth. When she discusses her ideas it often prattles off into some random cobbling of syllables, and she must often be reminded to slow the heck down. She likes trying new thing, attempting seemingly wild ideas, and discussing new ways of doing things even if she never executes them. Sometimes she has so many ideas, indeed, that she stays up all night thinking about them. These instances are quite rare however, and she tries to strictly keep them to nights where she can afford to pull an all-nighter, such as a holiday or plentiful summer night.
=Materialistic; Gannetnose puts a lot of material wealth on physical objects, such as the things in her hoarde of trinkets and goodies. She loves trades, contests and gifts, as well as giving objects away to those she prizes in her life. She especially values things given to her by family, such as her parents or her siblings. This is not to say she's selfish or stingy, she just likes having things she can touch and hold to make her happy! While some cats may call her a hoarder or a packrat, she only really is a kleptomaniac for one thing: holidays. Each year she must have something from each holiday in her stash.
-Stubborn; While some cats may be charmingly bullheaded or be very -heart in nature, Gannetnose is not at all cute or charming when her stubbornness is triggered. She will argue to the ends of the Ancient Ones that she's right, and really, really hates being told she's wrong; even worse when she's proven incorrect. She has a hard time admitting she's not entirely in the right, even when internally she already knows she is. This is the most likely reason to lose a friend for her - to drive the other cat away with her constant bickering and assurance that she's entirely in the right.
-Foolish; For all her imaginative prowess, Gannetnose has the unfortunate vice of not being able to see the obvious problems or dangers with something. For example: if Gannetnose were faced with a busy road, she would scramble across it without even noticing the pathway dug by humans underneath the busy way. Her mind almost seems to move too fast to notice even the most glaring of details. Not only that, she has the occasional tendancy to say inappropriate things without realizing it, especially when things are awkward or emotionally taxing. This is often the reason for arguments regarding her, though in these situations she's more likely to concede to the other cat and admit that it wasn't the best thing to say.
[li]History-[/li]Gannetnose was the first kit of Dipperfoot and Daisycloud, a pair of gentle parents who took good care of her. Being an only kit of a young mother she enjoyed a life without sharing nursing space or a nest as she went through her formative days, and bonded quite tightly with her mother. Gannetkit was a massive adventurer, wandering around camp far earlier than most would have liked her to... since she got underpaw almost constantly! She had a tendancy to pout and hide when things didn't go her way, scrunching up her little nose and puffing out her fur to appear 'bigger.' However, as she grew up this stubbornness formed words that almost never left her.
Apprenticeship was tough but very helpful, turning her stubborn energy toward her Clan rather than toward others. This didn't help with the arguments she occasionally found herself in, but they certainly helped out some. She grew fiercely loyal to her Clan of course, as cats do, and her stubbornness only amplified this. She spent her later apprentice days mumbling about those who thought badly of FerryClan or sought to cause them harm, and often made jokes at the expense of these often fictional marauders. She found her skill in tracking, and even despite the hard scent trails of the territory, she managed to memorize it by scent. It was around this time when Loonkit was born to their parent's second litter, a crybaby kit who was fragile in Gannetpaw's eyes. Their close relationship to Loonkit was secretly born of worry that the little bicolor would never toughen up. When they took the role of medicine cat Gannetpaw was both proud and relieved. They wouldn't have to see their beloved sibling charge into battle anytime soon!
She gained her Warrior Name just a few days after Loonpaw's apprenticeship, earning her title Gannetnose. She flaunts it with pride these days; nothing has happened, really, since then.
